SpringHill Suites to open at Plazzio

The 102-room SpringHill Suites at the Plazzio development in east Wichita is scheduled to open Friday.

“This is a hotel for business and leisure travelers who want affordable lodging with the freedom of spacious accommodations and the comforts of home-like amenities, such as mini-refrigerators and microwave ovens,” said Tim Sheldon, executive vice president of brand management for Marriott International, in a written statement.

The hotel features nonsmoking suites with 37-inch flat-screen televisions and complimentary high-speed Internet.
