Corrupt KS Attorney General Paul Morrison Resigns
Kansas Attorney General Paul Morrison announced his resignation amid increased public pressure after details surfaced of his illicit affair with a subordinate and alleged attempts to use that relationship to influence abortion investigations. Morrison's resignation will become effective on January 31, 2008.
"Kansans are weary of corruption and the appearance of impropriety over abortion investigations. Gov. Sebelius must understand that any replacement for Morrison simply cannot be another political crony who is beholden to the abortion cartel," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "We urge Gov. Sebelius return integrity to the Attorney General's office by appointing someone who is above reproach and whose pocketbook does not have strings to abortion blood money."
