U.S. Census Bureau is Hiring in Salina

To support the 2010 Census, the U.S. Census Bureau is looking in and around Salina and northwest Kansas for temporary workers interested in serving their communities by locating households and updating address lists.

Training and pay ranging from $8.50 to about $14.50 an hour are available for those hired for the census bureau's address canvassing operation.

To apply, potential applicants should call the census bureau toll-free, 1-866- 861-2010. Applicants are required to take a math and reasoning aptitude test covering 28 questions.
