- The Strong Bucks Scam in Wichita
The latest electronic checking scam has hit Wichita and at least one bank, Intrust Bank, claims there is nothing they can do about it.
Someone or some group named The Strong Bucks somehow gets your name, checking-account number and routing number and then cuts a false electronic check for $99.75. Since the electronic checks have their account holders name printed on it, Intrust Bank has been paying the check, leaving their customers out in the cold. (…)
