Collectivist Goals for Wichita
The goal of Visioneering Wichita is to make Wichita a premier Midwestern city where people want to visit, live and play. The adoption of an ordinance to restrict the civil liberties of workers, customers and visitors should be part of that process, according to Mary Jayne Hellebust, Director of Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition.
Such an ordinance will bring Wichita into conformity with other politically correct Kansas cities such as Lenexa, Garden City, Newton, and Lawrence and bring the city one step closer to the collectivist goals of the United Socialists of America.
Soon after the City of Wichita mandates how private businesses should operate in the city, most business owners and managers will realize how much they have lost. When business owners allow the nanny state to step in and control their business, they will next see a loss in profits and a decline in the quality of service they can provide their customers. More and more businesses will choose to open their businesses in another city or state more favorable to free enterprise.
Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition partners hope to make Wichita another nanny-state stronghold in this country and to further shun visitors and tourist dollars. Already, Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition has taken it's dollars out of Wichita and holding it's biennial Socialist conference in Overland Park.
